很多人未必知道不同的牧者負責的事工是甚麼. 今次我們會介紹各同工的工作綱領.

 

堂主任

陳牧師和利民牧師分別帶領粵語堂和英文堂的事工, 而蕭傳道則同時帶領國語堂及萬民堂的事工. 他們的工作綱領如下:

 

在向教牧同工隊及執事會的問責下:

1.    牧養及領導其會眾來實踐教會的異象.

2.    主領其事工委員會

3.    監督祟拜聚會及講道

4.    監督細胞小組事工, E&E課程及團契.

5.    培訓G12 成員作主門徒

6.    監督事工上的行政工作

7.    帶領和發展其下之同工或實習同工.

 

兒童事工主任的工作綱領

在向教牧同工隊及執事會的問責下:

1.    監督北約堂址各堂的兒童事工

2.    給與兒童事工領導和異象, 成全教會整體異象

3.    揀選, 訓練和督導兒童事工所有師資

4.    監督兒童事工各環節, 包括兒童主日學, 兒童祟拜及特備節目

5.    幫助培育教會內兒童的屬靈生命成長

6.    幫助北約堂址內所有牧者裝備父母有效地培養兒女

7.    監督兒童團契

8.    帶領北約堂址內所有牧者舉行定期會議統籌各兒童事工的需要

此外, 兒童事工主任亦會按恩福幼兒園行政委員會的要求而在其監督下參與兒童暑期夏令營.

 

柯傳道的工作綱領

在粵語堂主任的監督下:

1.    協助粵語堂主任牧養及領導其會眾來實踐教會的異象

2.    監督E&E課程

3.    教導及講道

4.    監督成青區及學生區

5.    培訓G12 成員作主門徒

 

廖傳道的工作綱領

1.    協助萬民堂在萬民堂主任的監督下牧養及領導其會眾來實踐教會的異象

2.    培訓G12 姊妹成員作主門徒

3.    教導及講道

4.    帶領長青小組

 

實習

此外我們也向神學生及畢業生提供實習傳道機會,主要目的是透過師徒關係來使他們實際地發揮恩賜來建立教會的事工.  實習傳道可以是全時間或部份時間.

Some people may not know what the different pastors do.  Here below is a description of the work of the different pastors.

 

Leading Pastor

 

Pastor Chan and Pastor Lippman lead the Cantonese and the English congregations respectively while Pastor Siu leads both the Mandarin and PGC congregations.  Their job description is:

 

Being accountable to the pastoral team and the board to:

1. give pastoral leadership to the congregation to fulfill the church vision;

2. chair the Ministry Committee;

3.  oversee the worship services including preaching;

4.  oversee the cell ministry including the cells and the E & E and fellowship groups (if such exist);

5.  disciple G12 members;

6.  oversee the administrative work of the ministry;

7.  lead and mentor any staff or intern working under the leading pastor.

 

Job description of the Children’s Minister

Being accountable to the pastoral team and the Board to:

 

1.  oversee the ministry to the children of all the congregations of Grace Chinese Gospel Church of North York at North York site;

2.  provide leadership and vision to the children ministry so as to fulfill the vision of the church;

3.  select, train, and supervise the staff of the children ministry;

4.  oversee the programs of the children ministry, including the children Sunday School, the children worship, and other special programs;                                                                       5.  help nurture the spiritual growth of the children of the church;

6.  help the pastors of all congregations of GCGCNY at North York site to equip their parents in children’s nurture;

7.  oversee the children fellowship;

8.  chair regular meetings with the leading pastors of all the congregations of GCGCNY at North York site to coordinate the needs of the children ministry.

In addition the children’s minister will be involved in the summer camp according to request of the Grace Christian School Board and will then serve under its supervision.

 

Job description of Pastor Or

Under the supervision of Cantonese leading pastor

 

1.  to assist the leading pastor to give pastoral leadership to the congregation to fulfill the church vision;

2.  to oversee the E&E ministry;

3.  to preach and teach;

4.  to oversee YA Zone & Student Zone;

5.  to disciple G12 member.

 

Job Description of Mrs. Connie Liu

Under the supervision of the leading pastor of PGC to:

 

1.  assist the leading pastor to give pastoral leadership to the congregation to fulfill the church vision;

2.  disciple female leaders through G12.3;

3.  preach and teach;

4.  oversee the senior fellowship.

 

Intern

In addition we have an internship program for theological students or graduates.  The purposes are to mentor the interns to gain practical experience and develop gifts and to strengthen the ministries of the church through the internship.  Internship can be full-time or part-time.
