Summer Camp|兒童暑期聖經營
For the previous few years, Grace Chinese Gospel Church of North York Summer Camp has been providing a top notch program for campers in grades 1 – 11. Campers of all ages have experienced field trips, sports, and learning activities pivotal to their intellectual and physical growth. This year, the Grace Chinese Gospel Church of North York Summer Camp will again be offering a new summer program, “Meet the Heroes”. The program will span the 8 weeks from July 5th to August 27th, 2010 and will again be opened for campers in grades 1 – 11. The camp will be closed on August 2nd for the Civic Holiday. Camp hours are from 8:30 – 4:30 with optional extended hours from 8:00 – 8:30 and 4:30 – 6:00. The price for a normal 5 day week of the summer camp is $150 and for a 4 day week $120, including the price of field trips. If your child requires extended hours, the cost is only $10. At the time of registrations, a $25 processing fee is required.
Among the varied activities that the campers will be participating in are numerous sports, crafts, computer skills, and outside outings. Some of the sports that we as a summer camp will be emphasizing this year are Basketball and badminton. Each of these organized sports are designed to build up team work, physical activity, and associated sport related skills. For those campers who are not physically inclined towards sports, we have an extensive arts and craft program where children can bring their creations home. Last, but certainly not the least of our activities, and the “crown jewel” for the kids, are the outside outings and field trips. This year we will have outings to the Science Center, Zoo, Rock Climbing, Reptile Museum, swimming, etc. Other outside outings have been planned and will be announced to the campers once they are confirmed.
